Ron Gore, President
Ron Gore is a lifelong Cincinnatian driven by a profound commitment to giving back to his community. He channels this dedication through volunteer work, mentoring, and tutoring children across the Greater Cincinnati area. Ron's extensive involvement includes serving on several not-for-profit Boards of Directors, such as the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, Carl Lindner YMCA, and most recently, the Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy (CCPA). Throughout his tenure on these boards, Ron has chaired numerous committees, including those focused on capital campaigns, board development, and finance.

Additionally, Ron is an ordained Deacon at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where he has faithfully served for the past 20 years, and he also holds a position on the Board of Trustees. Furthermore, he is a 3rd Degree Master Mason at Lodge #69.
With over 30 years of experience in Marketing and Business Development, Ron brings a wealth of expertise to his professional endeavors. He is happily married and proud father to three adult children.

Jack Rubenstein
Jack Rubenstein is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. He graduated from Walnut Hills High School, Duke University, and The Ohio State University College of Law. After graduating from Law School, he served as an assistant prosecuting attorney before becoming the senior partner at Rubenstein and Thurman L.P.A. Having been listed in Best Lawyers of America for over 25 years, he retired from the practice after 50 years in 2017. Jack has served on the executive committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association and was the first President of The Greater Cincinnati Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He has served as President of Jewish Family Service and Big Brothers Association of Cincinnati and was lay Chairman of the National Conference of Christians and Jews. He has been a board member of CCPA since 2010 and serves as the finance chair. He has tutored at school for over eight years. Jack is married to Mary-Bob Rubenstein and has three married children and eight grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf, bike riding, and snow skiing,
Marvin Butts, III
Marvin Butts is the foundation of many communities here in Cincinnati, as he has embraced not just the city in which he was raised, but the neighborhood of Pendleton in which his businesses are located. In return, Cincinnati families and business communities have embraced him by bestowing him with numerous honors, such as WIZF Unsung Hero Honoree, Lighthouse Youth Services Beacon of Light Humanitarian Award Honoree, among many others.
Marvin G. Butts, III is the President of air Marvin’s Limousine Service, Mr. Bubbles Detailing, Tall & Skinny Management, MGB Records and The Butts Family Foundation.
Kenneth R. Kabel
Kenneth Kabel was born and reared in Connecticut. He earned a BA in political philosophy from Connecticut College and an MBA from Columbia University. In 1985, he moved to Cincinnati to manage an office of a local national packaging company. In 1989, Ken acquired Oak Hills Carton Company, a manufacturer of folding cartons and air filter components and ran the business until he sold it in 2016. Outside of business, Ken has been actively engaged with the boards of numerous organizations, including: Connecticut College Alumni Association Board (emeritus president), Connecticut College Board of Trustees (emeritus member), Cincinnati Housing Partners (past board chair), The Literary Board (past president), the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, the Plum Street Temple Historic Preservation Board, and the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. Ken is married to Carol T. Kabel, who is also an active volunteer in the Cincinnati community. Together, they served as volunteers in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 2019 – 2020. Ken and Carol have two daughters: Grace and Hope. Ken and his wife enjoy traveling and have visited many countries throughout the world, with many more yet to be explored.
Dr. Cindy Jones
Cindy White Jones is a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters. She is originally from Montgomery, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University in Montgomery. Cindy received a master’s degree in business administration in 2018, and this summer, completed the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, and is currently applying for a Ph.D. program in Higher Education Leadership. Mrs. Jones prides herself on being a professional in higher education who thrives in helping students succeed in college. She accomplishes this by holistically addressing student needs- guiding all aspects of academics. Cindy became an adjunct instructor in 2019 for the University of Cincinnati as part of the Business and Economics Department at the Blue Ash campus, teaching Survey of Business to first-year business students. She is truly inspired by student success in First-Generation and underrepresented student populations. The passion that fuels her daily in her work at UC is meeting the needs of worthy students as she herself is a First Gen student. Cindy recently recorded her first podcast on the topic of First-Generation Students Barriers and Resilience and is honored to share it with you.
Arlene Katz
Ms. Katz has served on the boards of many local organizations, including Family Service of Cincinnati, 4C for Children, Girl Scouts of Greater Cincinnati, BRIDGES, and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. In addition to the Board of Directors at CCPA, she is also a member of the Assistance League of Cincinnati. Her community service comes after two decades with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court. Ms. Katz and her husband, Bill, have two children and six grandchildren.
Charles H. Maguire, III
Charles "CH" H. Maguire, III, has been married for the past 50-plus years to Lorraine Lewis Maguire, has four grown children, and eight grandchildren. He is a 1965 graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. From 1969 until his retirement in 2004, CH worked in a sales and managerial capacity with Merrill Lynch and Company, residing in such cities as New York, NY, St. Louis, MO, Atlanta, GA, Louisville, KY, Princeton, NJ, Cincinnati, OH, and Charleston, SC. After his retirement from Merrill Lynch, CH worked in the government of the State of South Carolina, serving in various capacities such as Senior Advisor to the Governor, Director of Cabinet Affairs, and Chief of Staff of the Department of Commerce. CH has served as a Trustee of a number of schools, including Centre College, Seven Hills Schools, The North Carolina Outward Bound School, and the Joy Outdoor Education Center. Currently, he is involved with the Keystone Science School and is a Director of GWG Holding Inc. His hobbies include hiking, golf, skiing, and biking.
Robin Walker
Robin Walker is the CEO of Technology, Tailor Made, and the Executive Director of BYOC (Build Your Own Computer) Camps and Clubs. Robin has a B.S. degree in Math with a minor in Economics from Norfolk State University. She studied business at the graduate level at the University of Cincinnati and computer science at Memphis State University, after which she spent 24 years at Procter & Gamble before beginning her own company. In 2014, Robin was inspired to create Build Your Own Computer Camps and Clubs that give students opportunities to experience technology and encourage them to pursue careers in IT.
Robin has two grown children and a love for music that has led her to singing and dancing through various venues and groups over her years in Cincinnati.
Donna Robinson
Ms. Robinson received a BA in Criminal Justice from Eastern Kentucky University, an MS in Criminal Justice from Xavier University, and has over 30 years of experience in the criminal justice system. Through various departments within the Cincinnati Police Department, Ms. Robinson has received a number of commendations and is also a member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. She has participated in a number of community service activities and is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Cedric Cox
Cedric Michael Cox is best known for his paintings and drawings that merge surrealism and representational abstraction. As a student at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), Cox was awarded a fellowship to study at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting in 1999, he began to exhibit regionally and nationally.
Cox’s paintings catapult color into rhythmic action with abstract and recognizable images that create compositions inspired by themes in music and the natural world. His work remains true to sharing Cox’s innermost self as his passion radiates from the canvas. In addition to his work being in corporate collections, Cox has executed several large-scale public murals as well as murals in various public and private schools in the Cincinnati Region.
In 2021, a series of 64 paintings for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital was installed. Throughout his career, Cox’s work has been featured in books, magazines, and on television.
Robert Wright
Robert is a Cincinnati native with a strong passion for public service. He is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. His lifelong goal was to serve the citizens of Cincinnati, which he did in its fire department for over 37 years. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. His passion to serve the public also included his involvement and participation in numerous community outreach groups and non-profit boards. He and his wife, Diane, have been married for over 50 years.
Doug Mangen, Treasurer
Doug serves as the Treasurer for the Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy. His company, Mangen & Associates, specializes in finance, operations, and academic solutions for charter schools. He holds an MBA in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Finance, and Marketing from Miami University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from Wright State University.

Tamara “Tamie” Sullivan
Tamie Sullivan is a community leader and innovative social entrepreneur with more than 30 years of nonprofit, small business and strategic communications experience.She is currently chief operating officer for InnovaLab Ohio, streamlining modular and manufactured housing construction, which is an underutilized tool in solving our housing crisis.
Throughout her career, she has focused on collaborating with diverse organizations and individuals to make our community a better place for all. She has held a wide variety of positions in both the public and private sectors.
Sullivan was executive director of a nonprofit before starting her own business 25 years ago to provide high value marketing communications services through strategic partnerships, story-telling and public relations. Over the years, she has focused on increasing awareness for some of our community’s most challenging issues, including housing. Her project management experience goes beyond marketing/communications to include development strategy, government and community relations, and collective impact.
As a consultant, she was instrumental in the creation of the St. Vincent de Paul Charitable Pharmacy, which opened in 2006 as a statewide model. The Charitable Pharmacy provides medication and care to neighbors who would otherwise not be able to afford them. Since its inception in 2006, the pharmacy has filled more than 715,000 prescriptions worth nearly $100 million, at no cost to patients.
In 2016, Sullivan founded Girls with Pearls, Cincinnati, a school-based girls’ leadership program that continues to serve hundreds of girls as a program of Most Valuable Kids. She is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati Class 30 and is past board chair of the Lighthouse Youth & Family Services and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Advisory Board.
