The Friends started in 2023 with a group of CCPA volunteers dedicated to raising and accepting contributions to ensure that CCPA scholars and teachers will continue to have the leading-edge programs and resources that the school deserves. Through our ongoing efforts, we are ensuring that the CCPA tradition can remain as proud and strong as ever.

1. Maintain our Academic Excellence by ensuring that CCPA can continue to provide free top-tier
educational programs and resources.
2. Remove Cost as a Barrier to a Quality Post-High School Education by providing scholarships and
financial aid.
3. Elevate the Learning Environment by enhancing our campus facilities.
4. Retain & Attract our Highly Qualified Educators by empowering those who curate, execute,
support, and complement CCPA’s academic approach.
5. Nurture Talent Beyond Academics by offering extracurricular activities such as sports, organized
clubs, field trips, leadership programs, and other creative outlets.
6. Sustain support for all scholars by providing comprehensive services and resources for past, present, and future CCPA Lions.

The Friends of CCPA are governed by a Board of Directors composed of community members. Additionally, we are advocates of public education who work closely with the CCPA to ensure that high-quality programs and services are maintained for all students.

The Friends work with the school and the CCPA board to develop fundraising campaigns. Gifts to Friends be designated for specific uses or can go into the Friends' general fund to support the area of greatest need need within CCPA.

The board of CCPA, with guidance from the faculty and staff, will submit written requests for funds.

The Friends board can release the requested funds, suggest modifications to the request, or deny the request.

The Friends of CCPA depend on the generosity of loyal supporters, partners, and friends. Your generosity is vital to our ability to provide our students and staff at CCPA with the tools and resources they need to thrive inside the classroom.
